Jakarta - PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) has extended the share buyback period from June 20, 2022, to September 19, 2022.

"We believe that the implementation of the company's share buyback period will not have a negative impact on performance and income because the current available retained earnings and cash flows are sufficient to fund the needs of the share buyback implementation in that period," said Corporate Secretary Mahardika Putranto in an information statement on Tuesday (6/21).

Furthermore, share buybacks for an extended period will be carried out through transactions on the IDX through the regular market.

"The repurchase of the company's shares during the extension period will be carried out at a price deemed good and reasonable by the company," he said.
