Anticipation of Capital Outflow Triggers Correction in JCI


Market players' anticipation of capital outflow triggered a correction in the Jakarta Composite Index at the trading opening on Tuesday (30/3) by 3.1 points.

"Investors should be careful with the re-increase of the US Bond Yield level. In anticipation of capital outflows that might suppress the JCI today," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

As for trading this Tuesday, the Indonesia Stock Exchange corrected 3.1 points (0.05%) to 6,163.72. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 fell 1.4 points (0.15%) to 932.13.

For global conditions, US stock exchanges closed mixed overnight where the Dow Jones rose 0.30%, the S&P 500 fell 0.08%, and the Nasdaq corrected 0.6%. The Dow Jones Index once again made a record high level.

While the Asian indices opened mixed, where the Nikkei index opened and traded in the negative zone 0.25%, but the Kospi index rose 0.64%.
