Jakarta - PT Apexindo Pratama Tbk (APEX) obtained an onshore drilling contract in the Ulubelu area, Lampung, from PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy.

"The company has received a letter of appointment of the tender winner from PGE for onshore drilling in the Ulubelu area," Apexindo President Director Zainal Abidinsyah Siregar said in an information disclosure on Tuesday (9/6).

Zainal added that the contract value is US$15.8 million for the work of six wells.

"With this new contract, it has a positive impact on the level of rig utilization and the company's operating income," he added.
