PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) announced that Auric Digital Pte Ltd had become the company's new controlling shareholder since July 14, 2021.

This was marked by a volunteer tender offer (VTO) by Auric to the company's shareholders, with an offering period starting from June 4, 2021, to July 3, 2021.

As a result of the VTO, Auric currently owns 840.77 million LPPF shares, or equivalent to 32% of the company's total issued and paid-up capital.

"Previously, the company did not have a party that directly and indirectly controlled the company, and currently the company has a controlling shareholder, as defined in accordance with POJK 9/2018," said LPPF Corporate Secretary Miranti Hadisusilo in the IDX information disclosure on  Friday (16/7).

Auric is a company founded in Singapore and is a company with business activities engaged in investment.
