Jakarta - PT Bank of India Tbk (BSWD) plans to increase capital through a rights issue of 1.65 billion shares.

Based on information on Tuesday (8/2), the EGMS will be held on March 16, 2022, to seek approval for the plan.

With the plan to increase capital through this rights issue, the company's total capital is estimated to be Rp2.4 trillion, and overall it will positively affect financial performance. In addition, it will assist the company in increasing its loan portfolio.

The company will use the proceeds from the rights issue to strengthen its capital structure and expand its credit.

Shareholders who do not exercise their rights will experience a decrease in the percentage of share ownership (dilution).
