Jakarta - PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) as of semester I-2021 recorded a net profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of US$95.49 million, an increase compared to the same period the previous year, which suffered a loss of around US$14.53 million.

According to the financial report published Friday (3/9), the increase in net profit was supported by operating revenue growth of around 40.97% to US$1.55 billion, compared to the same period the previous year of US$1.10 billion.

In addition, the company also earned a foreign exchange gain of US$1.87 million from a previous loss of US$8.97 million.

BRPT also got a share of profits from associates and joint ventures of US$9.97 million from a loss of US$3.10 million and a gain on derivative financial instruments of around US$3.63 million from a previous loss of US$5.31 million.
