Early October, Foreign Fund Inflows Reach Rp8.69 Trillion


Jakarta - In early October 2021, Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded that foreign capital inflows into the domestic financial market reached Rp8.69 trillion.

"Based on transaction data from October 4-7, 2021, non-residents in the domestic financial market have net purchases of Rp8.69 trillion," said Group Head of the Communications Department, Muhamad Nur, in his statement on Friday (8/10).

The flow of foreign capital into the state securities (government bond) market reached Rp1.27 trillion, while the stock market reached Rp9.96 trillion.

On the other hand, BI noted that the flow of foreign capital out of the domestic financial market reached Rp5.78 trillion throughout 2021 or on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's 5-year investment risk premium or credit default swaps (CDS) increased to 83.92 bps as of 7 October 2021, from 79.81 bps as of 1 October 2021.
