Jakarta - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia  Tbk set the price for a limited public offering (rights issue) I through additional capital with Pre-emptive Rights of Rp3,400 per share by offering a maximum of 28.21 billion shares.

The brief prospectus published on Tuesday (31/8) will receive proceeds from the Rights Issue I of a maximum of Rp95.92 trillion.

The funds obtained from the Rights Issue I Rights will be used to establish an ultra-micro SOE holding which is carried out through the investment of BRI shares in Pegadaian of 6.24 million series B shares and PT PNM of 3.79 million series B shares.

Then, the remaining funds are in cash as BRI's working capital for the development of the ultra-micro ecosystem and micro and small businesses.

The formation of this ultra-micro holding will impact equitable access to finance, especially in the ultra-micro segment, which will later contribute to the achievement of the national financial inclusion
