Jakarta - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk made an additional capital investment in PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas Rp67 billion.

With this investment, the issued and fully paid-up capital of BRI Danareksa Sekuritas by BRI became Rp402 billion, from the original Rp335 billion. Meanwhile, Danareksa remains at Rp165 billion.

Thus, BRI's share ownership in BRI Danareksa Sekuritas became 70.90% from 67%, and Danareksa decreased to 29.10% from 33%.

"The purpose of this additional capital is to maintain the company's share ownership in order to strengthen the capital of BRI Danareksa Sekuritas," said BRI Corporate Secretary Aestika Oryza Gunarto in information disclosure on Thursday (6/30).

He added that BRI had obtained approval from the OJK regarding the additional capital participation.
