Jakarta - British American Tobacco Limited (BAT PCA) announced to extend the period of a voluntary tender offer to buy shares of PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk (RMBA).

BAT PCA will purchase RMBA shares owned by public shareholders at an offering price of Rp1,000 per share.

Based on the official publication of the BAT PCA on Tuesday (30/11), the extension of the tender offer period will begin on December 1, 2021, until December 31, 2022.

The company has appointed PT Bahana Sekuritas to carry out the plan.

Payment of the tender offer price to public shareholders who receive the tender offer for the number of shares offered for sale during the extension of the tender offer period will be made on January 11, 2021.

The number of offers from public shareholders to sell their shares in the tender offer represented 2,702 shares or equivalent to 98.7% of RMBA's 2.738 billion public shares.
