Jakarta - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) plans to increase its capital by providing preemptive rights of 6 billion new series B shares, or 12.7% of the issued and fully paid capital after the rights issue I.

Founded on the prospectus released on Friday (9/30), PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, the owner of 20.90 billion shares representing 50.83%, stated that it was implementing the rights issue I.

A maximum of 12.73% will dilute shareholders' shareholdings who do not exercise their rights.

The company will use the proceeds from the rights issue I to be channeled into financing to support the company's business growth.
