Jakarta - PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) has obtained a credit facility from PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk with a total of Rp1.03 trillion.

BSD Director Hermawan Wijaya said the credit facility consists of a term loan worth Rp1 trillion and a treasury line of US$2 million.

"The company can utilize this credit facility for up to 84 months from the date of the first withdrawal," he was quoted as saying in an information disclosure in Jakarta on Monday (12/19).

The credit facility will be used for business expansion or other corporate actions and for hedging risks of foreign currency exchange rates and interest rates.

"With the availability of each of these facilities, the company has wider space in utilizing the allocated funds for operational activities and corporate actions," he said.

In addition, the company is also protected from the risk of exchange rate fluctuations amid the current global uncertainty.
