Bumi Serpong Focuses on Organic Business 2021


PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE)  said it would focus on growing its organic business this year.

"We view the prospects for the property industry to improve in 2021. Moreover, the government has provided various incentives to increase economic growth, including property," said Hermawan Wijaya, Director of BSDE, in a press release, on Monday (1/3).

The company appreciates the various government policies that provide stimulus to the property sector, such as a 0% down payment for residential purchases. Even the government eliminates the gradual disbursement can be made simultaneously from the value of the KPR. This policy is beneficial for prospective buyers and developers.

These various policies will ease property buyers who want to buy property on credit and for developers to improve their capital and cash flow capabilities during the new habit period.

"This year, we will maximize the sales figure from the sales of units/lot of our property (organic growth). For residential areas, we are targeting pre-sales of IDR 4.4 trillion. " He added.

Meanwhile, the commercial area segment with supports from sales of apartments and shophouses worth Rp1.6 trillion. Residential areas that are targeted to make a positive contribution are BSD City, Nava Park and The Zora in BSD City, Grand Wisata, Kota Wisata, Grand City Balikpapan, Taman Banjar Wijaya, and Legenda Wisata.

Commercial areas targeted to make a positive contribution include BSD City commercial area, Apartment The Element, Apartment Southgate, Apartment Akasa, and Upper West in BSD City, Apartment Aerium, and Klaska Residence.

Apart from focusing on organic growth, the company is also open to inorganic growth if it is profitable and provides value to shareholders.
