Bumi Serpong Eyes Pre-sales to Rise 8 Percent to Rp7 Trillion in 2021

PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) targets pre-sales this year to reach Rp7 trillion in 2021 or an 8% growth from last year's realization of Rp6.5 trillion.

"We are optimistic that the prospect of the property industry, both residential and commercial, will grow sustainably. In 2021, it will continue to grow even though it is limited compared to the period before the pandemic. Consumer interest in the products we offer remains high, "said Director of BDSE, Hermawan Wijaya, in a press release, Tuesday (9/2).

According to Hermawan, Bumi Serpong monitored the high consumer interest from the sales figures in the fourth quarter of 2020, which posted pre-sales of Rp1.8 trillion or equivalent to 28% of the total pre-sales figures throughout 2020, amounting to Rp6.5 trillion.

This year's pre-sales target will support BSDE revenue, coming from main segments, namely the residential, commercial, and other components.

The residential segment is the main contributor with a target of Rp4.4 trillion. This figure comes from residential areas, such as BSD City, Nava Park, Kota Wisata, Grand Wisata, Taman Permata Buana, Taman Banjar Wijaya, Legenda Wisata, Grand City Balikpapan and The Zora.

Three significant residential areas will be the biggest pre-sales contributors to this segment, including; BSD City with a target of Rp2.2 trillion or equivalent to 50% of the total residential target. Furthermore, Nava Park Rp 700 billion or 16% and Grand Wisata Rp500 billion or 11% of the whole residential segment.

The commercial segment is the second largest segment for pre-sales revenue, namely Rp1.6 trillion, equivalent to 23% of the total pre-sales target. This segment consists of shophouses, lots, and apartments.

Commercial areas in BSD City are the main contributors to the sales of this segment. The top two contributors to pre-sales figures for this segment include; BSD City commercial products amounted to Rp1.1 trillion, equivalent to 69% of the commercial segment target, then The Element and Apartment Southgate Rp150 billion or 9% each of the total pre-sales target of the commercial segment.

"To support our pre-sales target, we will continue to develop our property areas, both residential, commercial, and outside sales," he said.
