The Jakarta Composite Index decided to reopen trading (suspension) in the shares of PT Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk (KONI) and PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA) on Monday (26/4).

"The opening of the stock trading suspension is carried out on the regular market and the cash market," said Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, Lidia M Panjaitan in Jakarta.

Previously, KONI shares were suspended on April 23, 2021, and ABBA on April 15, 2021, due to a significant increase in cumulative prices.

The purpose of the suspension is to cool down the movement of the company's shares and to provide adequate time for market players to consider each investment decision-making carefully.
