IDX Suspends Trading of BNBA, Monitors INTI Shares Movement
The Indonesia Stock Exchange temporarily suspends the trading of PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk (BNBA) shares and monitors the unusual market activity (UMA) of shares of PT Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (INTI).
BNBA's stock suspension is carried out on the regular market and the cash market starting from the first trading session on Monday (22/2).
"The Exchange calls on interested parties to always pay attention to the disclosure of information submitted by the company," said Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, Lidia M Panjaitan, in a statement, Monday (22/2).
In fact, three days earlier, or on February 19, 2021, BNBA resumed trading on the regular market and the cash market in the first session after having been stopped on February 17, 2021.
The President Director of BNBA, Wikan Aryono, in the IDX disclosure dated February 16, 2021, emphasized that the company is not aware of any material information or facts that affect the value of company shares or investors' investment decisions.
On February 19, 2021, the company wrote to the Exchange regarding an online notification of plans for the implementation of residential public exposes to be held on Tuesday (23/2).
Meanwhile, the Exchange asks investors to pay attention to INTI's answer to the exchange request for confirmation and to observe INTI's performance. The Exchange also asks investors to review the corporate action plan of a listed company if the plan has not been approved by the General Shareholder Meeting and to consider the possibilities that may arise at a later date.
