The Indonesia Stock Exchange extended the temporary suspension (suspension) of PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (BTEL) shares in all markets from the first trading session on Tuesday (11/5) until further announcements.

"Therefore, we ask stakeholders to pay attention and pay attention to all forms of disclosure of information conveyed by the company," said the Head of the IDX I Company Assessment Division, Adi Pratomo, through an official publication today.

According to him, the extension of the suspension is carried out based on the Exchange's evaluation of the company's financial statements and responses to the IDX requests for explanation. The Exchange thinks that there are still doubts about the continuity of the company's business

The chronology, on May 27, 2019, the Exchange suspended BTEL shares. Then, on January 17, 2021, the company submitted its financial statements for September 30, 2020, and obtained a qualified opinion.
