MNC Energy Finds Reserves


Jakarta - The coal mine owned by PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA) has found additional reserves.

According to the Indonesian Mineral Reserves Committee (KCMI), one of the Mining Business Permits (MBP) recently acquired by IATA, PT Arthaco Prima Energy (APE), managed to find additional reserves of 37 million MT with a GAR of 2,500–3,250 kg/kcal in the drilling program. APE Phases 1 and 2 are on ​​660 hectares of the total explorable area of ​​15,000 hectares.

IATA is also drilling for another MBP, PT Indonesia Batu Prima Energi (IBPE), and KCMI reported the discovery of reserves for IBPE Phase 1 of 6.22 million MT with a GAR of 3,375 kg/kcal over an area of ​​960 hectares, of the total area that it can explore, of ​​15,000 hectares.
