Jakarta - PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) for the first nine months of 2021 posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of US$159,001 million, an increase compared to the same period in the previous year, a loss of US$21.91 million.

The company financial report published on Monday (1/11) showed the increase in profit was supported by the rise in revenue of around 48.34% to US$ 1.88 billion from the same period in 2020 of US$ 1.26 billion.

In addition, TPIA managed to pocket a gain on derivative financial instruments of US$6.22 million from a loss of US$5.16 million and a foreign exchange gain of US$2.15 million from a loss of US$4.37 million.

Meanwhile, the company's total assets for the period ending September 2021 were at US$4.59 billion, with US$1.65 billion in liabilities and US$2.935 billion in equity.
