Jakarta - PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) through PT Elang Media Visitama (EMV) plans to take over 9.09 billion or 93% shares of PT Bank Fama International.

The prospectus published Friday (5/11), the shares belonged to June Jen Suherman with 4.42 billion shares, 1.70 billion shares belonged to Edi Susanto, 1.70 billion shares belonged to Dewi Janti, and 1.25 billion shares belonged to PT. Surya Putra Mandiri Prosper.

To realize this takeover plan, Emtek expects the receipt of OJK approval for the application and the results of the capability assessment and compliance with EMV on 22 December 2021, the signing of the takeover deed on 27 December 2021, and receipt of notification from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on 28 December 2021.

EMV will control 93% of Bank Fama's shares if the takeover is complete, while the other shareholder, PT Nusantara Berkat Agung, will own 7%.
