PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) throughout 2020 booked a net profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity of US$53.65 million, an increase compared to the same period in the previous year of US$28 million.

Based on the financial report published on Wednesday (7/4), thanks to a decrease in impairment losses of around 96.96% from US$59.098 million to only US$1.796 million supported the higher profit. 

This Bakrie Group business entity has also succeeded in reducing the rate of foreign exchange loss by 50.39% to US$81,000 from the previous record of US$163,000. Other expenses also decreased by 94.55%, from US$52.68 million to US$2.87 million.

However, the company's net sales eroded 2.82% from US$334.34 million to US$324.88 million. The cost of goods sold also increased 11.40% to US$196.90 million from US$176.74 million.

The company's total assets by the end of December 2020 were recorded at US$844.61 million consisting of liabilities and equity, respectively US$632,445 million and Rp212,173 million.
