First Session, JCI Falls 0.25 Percent to 6,257,278


At the end of the first trading session today, Wednesday (24/2), the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 15.529 points or 0.25 percent to a level of 6,257,278

One hundred eighty-four stocks rose, 252 shares fell, 190 stocks were unchanged. 

A total volume of 21.6 billion shares was traded with a market turnover of Rp10 trillion.

While the top gainers in the LQ45 included PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN), which rose 3 percent to Rp2,060, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) gained 1.26 percent to Rp6,025, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) rose 1.24 percent to Rp1,220.

Meanwhile, among the LQ45 top losers included PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), which fell 4.02 percent to Rp835, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) fell 3.75 percent to Rp3,340, PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC) decreased 3.47 percent to Rp695.
