First Session, JCI Down 0.72% at 5,905


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the first trading session today, Tuesday (13/4), was down 43.09 points or 0.72% at 5,905.47.

One hundred thirty stocks were up, 339 stocks down, and 149 stocks unchanged. The total share trading volume reached 7.89 billion shares with a total turnover of Rp4.81 trillion.

Only two stock sectors survived the green zone: the miscellaneous industry sector, which rose 0.77%, and the infrastructure sector, which rose to be 0.04%.

Eight other stock sectors entered the red zone. The sectors with the deepest weakness were the construction sector, which fell 1.48%, the consumer goods sector fell 1%, and the trade sector fell 0.95%.

While the stocks among the LQ45 top gainers were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) (9.39%), PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) (2.52%), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) (1.09%).

Meanwhile, stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) (-6.50%), PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) (-5.86%), PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk. (BTPS) (-3.54%).
