First Session, JCI Down 0.54% at 6,054


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the first trading session today, Monday (19/4), was corrected by 0.54% or 32,665 points to the level of 6,053,593.

Of all traded stocks, 241 stocks weakened, 218 stocks rose, and 165 stocks were unchanged. Total trading volume reached 9.3 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp5 trillion.

Eight of the ten sectoral indices dragged the JCI. The basic industrial sector contributed the most, falling 1.71%. Meanwhile, the two green sectors were construction 0.69% and agriculture 0.32%.

While the stocks that included in the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Indotambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) which rose 5.03% to Rp12,525, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) gained 4.11% to Rp1,645, PT Bank BTPN Syariah. Tbk (BTPS) increased 2.62% to Rp3,130.

Meanwhile, stocks included the LQ45 top losers, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP), which fell 5.54% to Rp9,375, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) was down 4.82% at Rp9. 875, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) decreased 2.93% to Rp2,320.
