First Session, JCI Falls 0.43% to 6,524.42


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the first trading session, Tuesday (2/11), weakened 28.472 points or 0.43% to 6,524,417.

Of the composite, 193 stocks were up, 312 were down, and 158 were unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 11.42 billion shares with a turnover of Rp5.69 trillion.

The JCI weakened as dragged by corrections from the majority of sectoral indices. The index with the deepest weakness was the Energy Sector IDX, which fell 1.48%.

Meanwhile, among the top gainers in the LQ45 included PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE), which rose 2.28%, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) climbed 1.26%, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) gained 0.98 %.

The top losers in the LQ45 were PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) which fell 3.07%, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) declined 2.79%, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) slipped 2.70%.
