First Session, JCI Falls 0.81% to 6,236
Jakarta - In the first trading session, the Jakarta Composite Index on Friday (1/10) weakened 50.81 points or 0.81% to 6,236.
Of all traded stocks, 217 stocks were rising, 289 stocks were weakening, and 145 stocks were unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 15.21 billion shares with a turnover of Rp25.43 trillion.
The decline of several sectoral indices dragged the JCI down. The index with the deepest weakness was IDX, the Non-Primary Consumer Goods Sector, which fell 1.70%.
The top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) up 7.856%, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) up 7.34%, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) up 6.72%.
Meanwhile, the top losers in LQ45 were PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), down 3.97%, PT Japfa Tbk (JPFA) down 3.29%, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) down 3. 00%.
