First Session, JCI Falls 0.91% to 6,285


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first trading session on Tuesday (5/10), fell 0.91% or 57,520 points to 6,285.

One hundred seventy-seven stocks were rising, 325 stocks weakening, and 146 stocks unchanged. The total trading volume was 21.8 billion shares with a turnover of Rp10.7 trillion.

Eight sectoral indexes weighed on the JCI move. The index with the deepest weakness was IDX-Infrastructure, down 2.39%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Timah Tbk (TINS) which was up 7.97% to Rp1,625. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) increased 4.02% to Rp4,140. PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) rose 3.83% to Rp1,355

Meanwhile, stocks included in the LQ45 top losers were PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), which fell 5.34% to Rp2,660. PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) declined 3.99% to Rp2,890. PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) slipped 3.83% to Rp1,255.
