First Session, JCI Falls 1.33 Percent to 6,206


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of the first trading session today, Friday (26/2), fell 83.65 points or 1.33 percent to 6,205.99.

Of traded stocks, 109 stocks were higher, 372 stocks weakened, and 142 stocks were unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 14.74 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 9.58 trillion.

Among the top gainers in the LQ45 included PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), which rose 1.83 percent. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (CTRA) rose 0.89 percent, PT Ace Hardware Tbk (ACES) was up 0.32 percent.

Meanwhile, among the LQ45 top losers were PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) which fell 6.37 percent, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) slid 5.41 percent, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) declined 5.16 percent.
