First Session, JCI Falls 1.73 Percent to 6,066
At the end of the first trading session today, on Tuesday (2/2), the Jakarta Composite Index fell 1.73 points or 0.03 percent to 6,065.82.
Of all traded shares, 239 stocks rose, 212 shares fell, and 154 stocks were stagnant. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 17.63 billion shares, with market turnover amounted to Rp12.24 trillion.
Among the top gainers of the LQ45 were PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) that rose 6.67 percent, PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA), which gained 6.16 percent, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), which increased 4.78 percent.
Several stocks in the LQ45 index were top losers. PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) dropped 6.67 percent, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) fell 6.54 percent, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) down 5.14 percent.
