First Session, JCI Gains 0.30% to 6,214


At the end of the first trading session on Monday (29/3), the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) rose 18.44 points or 0.30% to 6,214.

Of all trades stocks, 149 stocks rose, 224 stocks fell, and 146 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 7.96 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp4.94 trillion.

Six sectoral indices strengthened, among others, the basic industry recorded the most significant increase of 2.25%, the manufacturing sector rose 1.19%, the consumer goods sector strengthened 0.71%, the financial sector strengthened 0.16%, the miscellaneous industry sector rose 0.10%. The infrastructure sector edged up 0.01%.

Among the LQ45 stocks were top gainers including, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), which was up 5.82%, PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA), gained 4.72%, PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) rose 3.46%.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers included PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), which fell 4.12%, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) was down 2.07%, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) decreased 1.71%.
