The Jakarta Composite Index at the end of the first trading session today, on Tuesday (6/4), strengthened 0.44% or 26.16 points to 5,996.44.

Of all traded stocks, 275 stocks rose, 178 stocks fell, and 176 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of transactions reached 11.17 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp5.47 trillion.

Nine sectors strengthened along with the JCI this afternoon. Only the consumer goods sector fell 0.14%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) 5%, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) 3.61%, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) 3.02%.

Meanwhile, the stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG), which fell 2.56%, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) was don 1.57%, PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA) decreased 1.53%.
