First Session, JCI Rises 0.47% to 6,515


Jakarta - In the first trading session, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on  Wednesday (13/10) rose 0.47% or 30.68 points to 6,516.94.

Two hundred seventeen stocks were rising, 286 stocks weakening, and 149 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 19.99 billion shares with a turnover of Rp9.90 trillion.

Seven sectoral indices strengthened along with the JCI. Meanwhile, four sectors weakened until this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) which rose 4.26%. PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) gained 4.10%, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) climbed 3.64%.

Meanwhile, among the stocks included in the LQ45 top losers were PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) which fell 4.08%. PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) slid 3.72%, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) was down 3.20%.
