First Session, JCI Rises 0.63 Percent to 6,115.79


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of the first trading session today, Thursday (4/2), rose 38.05 points or 0.63 percent to 6,115.79.

Of all traded shares, 191 stocks rose, 261 shares fell, and 167 shares were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 10.72 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp9.83 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 index were PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM), which rose 16.37 percent. PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) gained 13.58 percent, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) was up 4.07 percent.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers were PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) fell 3.65 percent, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) fell 2.33 percent, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) fell. 2.14 percent.
