First Session, JCI Rises 0.82% to 6,605.84


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first trading session on Thursday (4/11), rose 0.82% or 53.714 points to 6,605.844.

Two hundred fifty-four stocks were rising, 153 down, and 158 unchanged. The total volume is 10.76 billion shares with a turnover of Rp 6.47 trillion.

All ten sectoral indices were in the green. The sectoral index that contributed the most was IDX Trans 1.77%.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were  PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) which rose 7.02 to Rp12,950. PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) climbed 6.33% to Rp10,075, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) gained 3.39% to Rp1,525.

The stocks that fall into the LQ45 top losers included PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), down 1.66% to Rp2,960. PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) slipped 1.43% to Rp2,760. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) was down 0.96% to Rp3,100.
