First Session, JCI Rises 1% to 6,605


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the first trading session on  Thursday (14/10) rose 1.04% or 68.10 points to 6,605.

There were 268 stocks strengthened, 231 stocks weakened, and 151 stocks unchanged. Total transaction volume reached 13.50 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp9.59 trillion.

Eight sectoral indices supported the increase in the JCI. At the same time, the three sectoral indices have weakened so far.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) which rose 6.33%. PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) gained 5.49%, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) climbed 5.04%.

Among the stocks included in the LQ45 top losers were PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG), which fell 2%.  PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) declined by 1.62%. PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) slipped 1.21%.
