First Session, JCI Rises 1.3 Percent to 6,123.73


At the end of the first trading session today, on Wednesday (3/2), the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) gained 79.89 points or 1.32 percent to 6,123.73.

Of all traded shares,  292 stocks rose, 161 stocks fell, 153 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 10.40 billion shares with market turnover so far Rp8.90 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 index, among others, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), rose 6.69 percent, PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) increased 3.94 percent, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) increased 3.81 percent.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 index were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), which fell 4.76 percent, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) fell 3.31 percent, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) decreased. 2.41 percent.
