PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) and PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) forge a strategic partnership to promote MotionBanking.

MNC Group CTO Yudi Hamka said this step had opened a new era of collaboration between telecommunication operators and digital banking, the first in Indonesia.

"This partnership combines the MNC Group's large ecosystem, including media, financial technology, and digital power with the 56 million user base of XL Axiata and its mobile operator services that empower the digital economy and financial inclusion," he said in a statement, Thursday (12/8).

According to Yudi, XL Axiata, with its 56 million smartphone user base, creates synergies to overcome low financial inclusion in Indonesia.
