PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk announced that it had appointed a financial consultant based in New York City, Gugemheim Securities LLC, to help the company overcome the challenges caused by COVID-19.

"Garuda has appointed Guggenheim Securities to the list of consultants to help us overcome the ongoing challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic," said Garuda President Director Irfan Setiaputra in a statement on Friday (18/6).

Irfan is optimistic that the consultant team formed is the best arrangement to support the company out of the pandemic as an airline with good performance and a strong capital structure.
