Jakarta - Global negative sentiment triggered the correction of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading on Wednesday (10/11) by 4.38 points.
"JCI will move lower this morning in line with negative movements in global markets," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.
Meanwhile, at the opening of trading on Wednesday, the JCI fell 4.38 points (0.07%) to 6,665.55. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 fell 1.25 points (0.13%) to 951.38.
For global conditions, the US stock market closed lower in yesterday's trading where the Dow Jones index fell 0.31%, the S&P 500 lost 0.35%, and the Nasdaq fell 0.6%.
Investors took profit-taking after the rally in October. In addition, the market also anticipates the announcement of inflation data.
Meanwhile, this morning, most regional markets opened in red territory, including the Kospi, which opened 0.17% lower, and the Nikkei fell 0.12%.
