Global Factors Support JCI to Strengthen


Jakarta - Positive global and regional sentiment supported the strengthening of the Jakarta Composite Index (CSPI) at the opening of trading on Monday (1/11) by 26.78 points.

"The JCI will rebound today in line with the sentiment of global and regional stock exchange movements," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading on Monday, the JCI rose 26.78 points (0.41%) to 6,618.12. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 rose 6.22 points (0.65%) to 958.81.

For global conditions, at the close of last week, the US market moved higher where the Dow Jones index rose 0.25%, the S&P 500 rose 0.19%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.33%.

Issues that are likely to be the attention of market participants this week are the results of the Fed's FOMC meeting, the release of manufacturing PMI results from several European countries, and the release of non-farm payroll data with consensus expectations at 385,000.
