Jakarta - Commodity Observer Ariston Tjendra assessed that gold prices on Tuesday (19/10) had the opportunity to strengthen as the US bond yields this morning saw another correction and were in the range of 1.57%.

"The correction in yields is in line with the improving market sentiment towards risk this morning," he said in Jakarta.

With the above sentiment, today, the price of gold may be able to strengthen again to the area of US$1790 per troy ounce with potential support in the range of US$ 1760 per troy ounce.
