Jakarta - PT Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (GTBO) has obtained annual contracts to purchase coal from 3-5 companies with destinations in India, China, and Thailand.

According to GTBO Director Jones Manulang, as of April 2022, the company has produced 450,000 million tons of coal, and around 230,000 million tons of coal have been exported to India and China.

"And they are filling 80,000 million tons of vessels for China," said Jones on Thursday (2/6).

He added that since 2022, the company has been producing and re-exporting coal with the condition that coal production is carried out by itself with the support of rental equipment, coal shipments are carried out through company-owned docks supported by jetty conveyors, and support for coal shipments such as barges and loading and unloading labor is carried out under cooperation contracts.
