PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT), until the end of June 2021, recorded a profit for the year reaching US$12.63 million, compared to the same period in the previous year, losing US$5.452 million.

The company's written statement on Monday (2/8) revealed that the positive profit growth was supported by an increase in sales volume of palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) by 14.8% and 15.3%, respectively, to 132.160 metric tons and 25,777 metric tons in the first half of this year, namely 115,139 metric tons and 22,360 metric tons.

Production of CPO and PK also increased by 18.6% to 132,910 metric tons and 15.2% to 25,881 metric tons.

During the first six months of this year, the trend of CPO prices also continued to increase, so that ANJT recorded an average CPO selling price of US$719/metric ton or 31.2% higher than the same period last year of US$548/metric ton.
