IATA Eyes Rp3.50 Trillion from RIghts Issue


Jakarta - PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA) aims to raise funds through a limited public offering II by providing preemptive rights amounting to Rp3.50 trillion.

Based on IATA's information disclosure on Friday (5/20), IATA plans to increase its capital with preemptive rights of 14,840 billion series B shares.

The company plans to use the funds obtained from this additional capital to settle MNC Investama's claim rights to the company based on the promissory note issued by the company in the context of the takeover of Bhakti Coal Resources as the company's working capital.

This rights issue II was accompanied by the issuance of series I warrants totaling 2.968 billion series B shares.

The Extraordinary General Meeting approved the issuance of shares and warrants of shareholders, which was held on May 18, 2022.

Meanwhile, the implementation schedule is cum rights in the regular market and negotiated market on July 4, 20
