Jakarta - As many as 40 listed companies plan to carry out additional capital with Pre-emptive Rights or rights issues.

Director of Corporate Valuation of the PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), I Gede Nyoman Yetna, said that based on IDX data as of October 4, 2021, there were 40 listed companies in the rights issue pipeline.

"The estimated total funds from the rights issue are Rp18.91 trillion," he said in a statement on Wednesday (6/10).

According to Nyoman, of the 40 listed companies that have a rights issue pipeline, there were nine companies whose rights issue value reaches more than Rp1 trillion.
