The Indonesian Stock Exchange Authority suspended the trading of PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) shares.

Head of the IDX Trade Regulatory and Operational Division, Irvan Susandy, said the suspension was carried out in connection with a significant increase in the cumulative price of SAMF Shares.

"In the context of cooling down, the IDX considers it necessary to temporarily suspend trading of SAMF shares on Monday, May 17, 2021," he said in information disclosure in Jakarta.

He added that the temporary suspension of trading in SAMF Shares was carried out in the regular market and the cash market to provide sufficient time for market players to consider carefully based on the information available in every investment decision-making in PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk shares.

The Exchange also appealed to interested parties to always pay attention to the disclosure of information submitted by the company.
