INA Becomes New Shareholder of Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat


Jakarta - The Indonesia Investment (INA) has become the new shareholder of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk.

Bank Mandiri Senior VP Corporate Secretary Group Rudi Asaturridha said the government transferred 3.73 billion series B shares to INA on December 23, 2021.

The transfer price is Rp6,073 per share, based on KMK 515,2021. The purpose of this transaction is to comply with PP 74/2020 and PP 111/2021.

"After the transfer, the government still owns 24.26 billion series B shares of Bank Mandiri or 52% of the 27.99 billion shares (60%)," said Rudi in information disclosure in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/12).

Meanwhile, BRI Corporate Secretary Oryza Gunarto explained that the government transferred 5.49 billion Series B shares to BRI on December 23, 2021.

The share transfer price is Rp4,061 (based on KMK 515/2021). The purpose of this transaction is to comply with PP 74/2020 and PP 111/2021.
