Jakarta - PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) achieved a profit for the year attributable to owners throughout 2021 of US$57.719 million, compared to the previous year's loss of US$117.542 million.

In the company financial report released on Friday (4/1/4), the success of pocketing a profit was boosted by an increase in revenue, about doubling to US$3.069 billion from US$1.813 billion.

Along with the increase in revenue, the cost of contracts and sales also jumped by 31.15%, to US$2.151 billion from US$1.640 billion.

Selling expenses increased by 43.39% to US$145.401 million from US$101.401 million. Investment income has been reduced roughly threefold, from $12,301 million to $4,270 million.

In addition, Indika also has to accept other expenses net of US$13,390 million from previously recorded revenues of US$9.012 million.
