Jakarta - PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) posted a profit for the period attributable to entities for the period January-September 2021, reaching Rp5.8 trillion, an increase compared to the same period the previous year, a loss of Rp457.50 billion.

In the financial report published on Thursday (28/10), Indosat's success in achieving profit was supported by an increase in revenue of around 11.96% to Rp23.05 trillion from Rp20.59 trillion.

In addition, Indosat managed to reduce the rate of expenses by about 20.48% or from Rp18.83 trillion to Rp14.97 trillion.

One of the pillars is the profit from the sale and leaseback of the tower of Rp6.16 trillion.

Indosat was also able to reduce the rate of foreign exchange losses during the first nine months of this year by around 89.62%, to Rp8.64 billion from Rp83.31 billion.

The company's total assets until the end of September 2021 were recorded at Rp69.84 trillion, with cash and cash equivalent
