Jakarta - PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) plans to increase Essenza's production capacity by adding two production lines in 2022 and one production line in 2023.

"So, the target for the total production capacity of the ceramic subsidiary in 2023 can reach 4.1 million square meters," said IKAI Corporate Secretary Winda Yohana in a statement on Friday (17/12).

According to Winda, the plan is part of a strategy for the next five years. Another plan is to expand investment in new factories or through acquisitions.

The company recorded that until September 2021, growth in total production of around 204%. The ceramics business segment increased its contribution to the IKAI business group's total revenue in the third quarter of this year to 69 percent compared to 40 percent in the same period last year.
